Local band The Lottery Winners launched its 4th album this evening. The Indie band is hoping to get to number one with KOKO – and local MP Jo Platt went to the launch party, to support the band.

The Lottery Winners had a number one hit with its third album – ‘Anxiety Replacement Therapy’ – which came out in 2023. The band is now hoping that KOKO will have the same level of success.

Jo Platt said: “The Lottery Winners played a fantastic gig at their pop-up shop for the launch of their new album KOKO, and I couldn’t miss it.

“It was great to see so many people out supporting local music and celebrating the success of a band flying the flag for Leigh.”

Earlier this month, The Lottery Winners received funding from the 23rd round of the Music Export Growth Scheme (MEGS).
