Google is coming to Leigh and Atherton on Wednesday 25 July, 2025, to offer support to local businesses, during an event hosted by local MP – Jo Platt.
The event, which is free to attend, is taking place 10am-3pm, at Leigh Sports Village.
Google will be providing an opportunity for local businesses to learn more about how AI-powered technologies and digital skills can transform the way they work to help their businesses to thrive.
Local MP – Jo Platt – said: “When Google contacted me about visiting the constituency, I was really keen to work with them to make it happen.
“I know that there are plenty of businesses within Leigh and Atherton that could benefit from the free training that Google is offering. I would urge those that are interested to reserve their spots as soon as possible.”
During the event, attendees can also benefit from private mentoring sessions with Google’s Digital Coaches, who are experts in their field.
