Occupational Pension Reconsidered After Ministerial Intervention
After intervention from the Pensions Minister, a local resident received a favourable reconsideration of their occupational pension following a previous dispute.
Delays with BT Resolved Through Openreach
A resident endured months of delays and disruption due to unfinished BT works on their street. Jo’s office contacted Openreach directly, resulting in the works being completed within days.
“Thank you so much for your help with this matter. You did move the mountain! You did in two weeks what my husband has been trying to do since March.”
£2,500 HMRC Tax Refund Unlocked
After an 8-week delay, Jo’s team supported a resident whose tax refund had been put on hold. Following intervention, HMRC processed the refund of £2,500 within four weeks.
Emergency Utility Support for Elderly Couple
An elderly and disabled couple moved into a new home with no gas or electricity. Jo’s office acted quickly, contacting utility providers and getting the issue resolved within hours.
Free Replacement Green Bin Arranged
After a resident’s green bin was damaged in a vehicle fire, Jo’s office liaised with the council to secure a free replacement.
Boosting Pension Credit and Attendance Allowance
Jo’s team assisted an elderly resident in successfully applying for the higher rate Attendance Allowance and Pension Credit – resulting in an additional £193 per week, backdated by three months.
