Securing a Positive NHS Complaint Outcome
After a constituent faced difficulties with a healthcare issue, Jo’s office intervened in their NHS complaint, resulting in a successful resolution and improved care.
Winning Back £394 per Month in Universal Credit
A resident was receiving reduced Universal Credit due to an incorrect assessment. Jo’s team worked with the DWP to have the error corrected – securing an extra £394 a month in vital support.
Waiving an Unfair Council Charge
Jo intervened after a resident was issued a local authority call-out charge following damage from high winds. The charge was successfully waived, avoiding an unnecessary financial burden.
Helping a Disabled Resident Obtain a Blue Badge
A constituent struggling to access essential services due to mobility issues is now benefiting from a Blue Badge, thanks to Jo’s intervention and advocacy.
Tackling Fly-Tipping Head-On
Following multiple reports from residents, Jo’s office coordinated with the local authority to address a series of fly-tipping incidents, resulting in prompt clean-up action.
Overturning a Penalty Charge Notice
Jo successfully appealed a wrongly issued Penalty Charge Notice on behalf of a resident, ensuring fairness and saving them from an unjust fine.
