Jo Platt MP for Leigh and Atherton

Leigh and Atherton MP – Jo Platt – has chaired the first APPG meeting for ADHD.
This All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) will meet to discuss Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in the UK Parliament.
The APPG for ADHD is a cross-party group of Members of Parliament (MPs) and members of the House of Lords who come together to:

Raise awareness of ADHD among policymakers and the public.

Promote better understanding and support for people with ADHD.

Influence policy and improve services across health, education, criminal justice, and employment sectors.
Other activities will include:

Hosting meetings, discussions, and events with experts, advocacy groups, and individuals with lived experience.

Publishing reports and recommendations.

Campaigning for improved diagnosis times, treatment options, and post-diagnostic support.
