Leigh and Atherton’s MP – Jo Platt – has signed a letter, alongside over 150 Parliamentarians, urging the PM to honour the promises made in 2022 and 2024 to enact The Hillsborough Law in full.
The Hillsborough disaster remains one of the greatest strains on British history. It is crucial that new legislation delivers the Full Duty of Candour, justice for the victims and families, and prevents similar tragedies from happening again.
