Like many Leigh and Atherton residents, local MP Jo Platt us concerned with the rise of HMOs across Leigh, Atherton, Tyldesley, Lowton and Golborne.
Today, Jo has pledged her commitment to tackle HMOs across the constituency.
She said: “I’ve met with the local authority again today, including with Deputy Leader Keith Cunliffe, who has agreed to work with us on this issue.
“Single-person homes must be designed to ensure safety, security, and quality, without diminishing the availability of family housing.
“I’m committed to seeing this problem addressed.”
