Paul and Mike completed a 10 mile walk from Bolton Wanderers Stadium to the Robin Hood in Leigh – to raise money for Leigh Leopards Academy, which has been set up to provide young people with the opportunities to develop as professional rugby players.
Leigh and Atherton MP – Jo Platt – said: “The Leigh Leopards Academy is a vital part of our club’s future, giving young people the chance to develop as professional rugby players, access education and scholarships, and gain support into apprenticeships.
“The fundraiser is still open, if you can, please donate and help them invest in the next generation.
“I’d also like to give a huge shoutout to Laura and Nigel from the Robin Hood pub in Pennington – who hosted the family fun day as part of the fundraiser. It was a great day out for everyone.”
