Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club held its annual open day – and local MP – Jo Platt visited to show her support.
During the open day, the sailing club were offering free trial sails to those that came along. Those over the age of seven were able to take part.
Jo Platt said: “I had the pleasure of dropping into the annual open day at Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club. I wasn’t quite dressed for the occasion, so sadly missed my usual outing with Nik – but it was a real joy to catch up with everyone who helps make this place such a success.
“It’s genuinely one of the best assets we have in the constituency, and after a busy day of visits, nothing hit the spot quite like a builder’s brew and a slice of cake.
