Jo Platt MP for Leigh and Atherton

On Friday 25 April, BJ’s Bingo on Ellesmere Street in Leigh celebrated the grand reopening of their newly-refurbished club. Leigh and Atherton MP Jo Platt officially opened the new club.
A beloved fixture in the Leigh community for 22 years, the club has undergone a complete transformation over the past 10 months.
Jo Platt officially opened the new club. After cutting the ribbon, Jo said: “£3 million pounds has been spent refurbishing the club – what a fantastic facility for Leigh.
“It’s brilliant to see local businesses investing in our town, securing jobs and giving the community a great place to meet and play. What a brilliant night out – and it’s right in the heart of our town.”
Guests that attended the reopening were greeted with a glass of bubbly and complimentary chocolates.
The evening featured a special live performance by Gamal John – from Britain’s Got Talent.
