Leigh and Atherton MP – Jo Platt – has been contacted by a number of residents in Lowton raising concerns about unpleasant smells, flies and heavy goods traffic working outside of agreed hours at the Diggle Green Farm Composting Facility.

Alongside, the Lowton East Labour Councillors and neighbouring MPs, Jo has been working to address this issue and she has raised her concerns to the Environment Agency.
