Jo Platt met with Atherton & Leigh Foodbank today, to discuss the work they are doing to support our community.

The meeting was set up so that Jo could get local insights into the Government’s proposed welfare changes.

The Atherton & Leigh Foodbank also shared data that Jo can use to support her discussions with Ministers down in Westminster.

Jo Platt said: “I had a great meeting with Atherton & Leigh Foodbank, we discussed the work being done locally to tackle poverty and I also got a deeper insight into the challenges being faced by residents in Atherton and Leigh.”
