Jo Platt MP for Leigh and Atherton
Belong Atherton is a community village for older people. Today, local MP Jo Platt went to see how they work within the community.
The Belong Atherton village has 26 apartments for independent living and six supported ‘households’ with ensuite bedrooms, lounges and kitchen areas.
Jo Platt said: “It was a pleasure to visit Belong Atherton to learn more about their integrated retirement community.
“During the visit, I got to chat with residents Finley and Iris about their residency and how the facility provides support for them and the wider community.”
