Today, Jo Platt attended the launch of the new MediaCity Content Studio – an innovative space that has been designed by content creators – for content creators.
Located in the White Tower, at MediaCity, the Content Studio has a range of creative spaces, including light, dark and podcast studios. It’s designed to be a place where creatives can bounce ideas, collaborate and make connections.
Whilst at MediaCity, Jo also met with Heidi Dawson – Head of BBC Salford – and Tim Davie – Director General of the BBC. The group discussed the growth of the creative industries in the region and the need for greater access to training and jobs for those across all of Greater Manchester.
Jo also had a tour of all their facilities at Media City, and heard about development plans for the site.
