Jo Platt – Leigh and Atherton MP – knows that these clubs all have volunteers that keep the wheels turning, the pitches ready, and the players supported – out of their sheer passion for the game and their communities.
Down in Westminster, Jo spoke with Lisa Wainwright MBE (Chief Executive, Sport and Recreation Alliance) and other senior figures in the sector about how government can do more to support, nurture, and retain these incredible volunteers and coaches.
