St Joseph’s Players – the Leigh-based amateur dramatics society – has brough Aladdin to our town.
Bumper crowds have been flocking to Leigh’s Chapel Street theatre for this hilarious family-friendly tradition – and tonight, local MP Jo Platt was sat in the crowd.
Jo Platt said: “What a night it has been! This is pure pantomime at its finest.
“I have huge respect for everybody at St Joseph’s Players for everything they do – not just for the brilliant entertainment, but for keeping this beautiful building alive and thriving. There’s still lots of work to be done and I’m proud to support them on their journey.
“Well done to everyone involved at St Joseph’s Players – and thank you for s wonderful evening of entertainment!”
