Compassion In Action ran its Christmas Toy Appeal again this year, in a bid to ensure that every child receives a gift this year.
Gifts – for children aged between 0 and 12, were collected from around the constituency by the Compassion In Action. They are now being delivered to families across Leigh and Atherton, that need a helping hand this Christmas.
Jo Platt said: “It’s great to see the fantastic work being done by organisations in Leigh and Atherton to support the local community.
“Earlier today, I visited Compassion In Action, to hear about this year’s Christmas Toy Appeal, which is in its 17th year.
“Pam – and the team – run the appeal to help ensure that our most vulnerable families receive a visit from Santa this year.”
