Jo Platt met up with The Speaker of the House today, to present him with the winning entry from her constituency Christmas card competition.
Each year, The Speaker invites MPs that have ran a constituency Christmas card competition, to meet him. He asks for them to bring a copy of their Christmas card, which he then displays in the Speaker’s House.
This year, a Year 4 pupil from St Luke’s C of E Primary in Lowton, won Jo’s Christmas card design competition. Their artwork was printed onto the front of Jo’s card.
Jo Platt said: “I was honoured to meet with The Speaker today, to give him a copy of my constituency Christmas card. The winning design is brilliant – and it deserves to take pride of place in The Speaker’s home over the festivities.”
