Jo Platt, the MP for Leigh and Atherton, attended SME4Labour’s 7th Annual Gala Dinner and the Labour Excellence Awards this evening.
SME4Labour aims to strengthen relations between the small, medium, micro, owner and family-run businesses with the Labour Party.
This year’s Annual Gala Dinner, which took place at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel, was a celebration of the group’s collective efforts and achievements over the past year.
SME4Labour has worked hard to support Labour MPs and candidates, advocating for policies that benefit small and medium-sized enterprises and ensuring their voices are heard within the party.
Jo Platt, said: “I wanted to show my support for SME4Labour, because the group has worked tirelessly to support small and medium-sized enterprises – making sure that they are considered when it comes to Government policy.
“This hard work should be acknowledged – and it was great to see the individuals involved receive the praise that they deserve.”
