This year’s Tyldesley Lights Switch On was a huge success – and local MP Jo Platt was there to show her support.

The event was presented by Bevan and Madi – from Radio M29’s Breakfast Buffet – and local band – The Lottery Winners – turned on the lights.

Santa was also in attendance, on his sleigh, and Organised Mayhem and St George’s School Choir provided the entertainment. There was also a Christmas Makers Market held inside St George’s Church.

Leigh and Atherton MP – Jo Platt – said: “It was great to be there for the Tyldesley Lights Switch On – and to see local Councillors Joanne Marshall and Jess Eastoe – who contributed to the event.”
