Leigh and Atherton MP – Jo Platt – met up with Minister of State at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government Matthew Pennycook today.
The meeting followed the Minister’s written statement on Leasehold and Commonhold Reform.
Jo Platt said: “It was great to meet the Minister of State at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to discuss leasehold and freehold issues in Leigh and Atherton.
“We discussed those that are being forced to pay high management fees that are charged by companies like FirstPort – and what can be done to change it.
“I welcome Leasehold and Commonhold Reform plan that was announced by the Minister. I think it will make a real difference to Leigh and Atherton residents.”
