On Friday 15 November, Jo Platt – the MP for Leigh and Atherton – met the Good Deeds Trust and PC Kiernan at Atherton Town Hall. The meeting took place during one of Jo’s regular surgeries – where she meets her constituents to discuss their individual issues.

The Good Deeds Trust works with – and supports – people in Atherton who live with Dementia. The charity meets at Atherton Town Hall every month.

PC Kiernan is part of the Atherton Neighbourhood Team, which works closely with the community to tackle the issues that are important to local residents.

Jo Platt said: “It was great to meet up with the Atherton Neighbourhood team and the Good Deeds Trust at my constituency surgery at Atherton Town Hall. Both are working hard to improve things for residents in Atherton.”

If you think you could benefit from meeting Jo, to discuss an issue you are facing, then get in touch with her team to arrange an appointment.
