Jo Platt MP for Leigh and Atherton

Jo Platt, the MP for Leigh and Atherton, met up with The National Lottery Heritage Fund in Westminster today.
In Leigh and Atherton, 38 projects have received funding, which totals £3,494,222.
Jo Platt said: “It was great to reconnect with The National Lottery Heritage Fund, who I worked with in a previous role, before returning to parliament in July.
“The Heritage Fund has awarded just over £3.39m to projects in Leigh and Atherton, including the Leigh Buildings Preservation Trust, St Thomas Church in Golborne and an African festivals project through The Moonraker Foundation.”
The National Lottery Heritage Fund aims to support a range of heritage, from community memories and stories, to collections and objects, to historic landscapes and buildings. Grants range from £10,000 – to over £10m for exceptional projects.
