A surprise party was thrown at Richmond House Care Home in Leigh this week, to honour the Home Manager Lorraine Scholey
The party was thrown to honour Lorraine, who has completed 30 years of service. Local MP, Jo Platt, also dropped in to congratulate her.
Jo Platt said: ” It was great to get along to Richmond House today, to help staff and residents celebrate 30 years of unfaltering service from Home Manager Lorraine.
“I’ve met Lorraine a number of times over the years, and it was fantastic to see such a look of shock on her face at the sheer number of people that had turned out to celebrate her amazing achievement.”
Richmond House Care Home, which has 49 beds, is located on Mitchell Street in Leigh.
