The sixth annual RocknStroll even in Lilford Park went without a hitch and Jo Platt, the MP for Leigh and Atherton was there supporting the community event.

RocknStroll is a family-friendly music festival that’s completely free to attend. The organisers bring music, events and artisan stalls to local parks for local residents.

Jo Platt said: “The sixth year of RocknStroll, in beautiful Lilford Park, did not disappoint. There was a great turnout, with performances from amazing bands and the best stalls.

“It was especially good to see so local businesses represented there – including What The Fudge ShopThe Secret Ingredient and Mardie’s Natural Treats.

“RocknStroll seems to go from strength to strength and I’m already looking forward to seeing what next year’s event brings.”
