Leigh and Atherton’s new MP Jo Platt chatting to locals at a Pensioners Link coffee morning.

During the meeting, Jo spoke about her priorities for Leigh and Atherton and answered questions from Pensioners Link members about local issues.

Speaking after the visit, Jo Platt said: “After a hectic week in Westminster, it’s wonderful to be back in the constituency. I had the pleasure of visiting Wigan and Leigh Pensioners Link who provide invaluable support to our entire borough. It’s heartening to see such dedicated efforts making a real difference to peoples’ lives.
